A very good article on the subject that basically proves my attitude on the subject: it is not about technology but the idiocy of people who use the technology.

I have been pitching about the superior importance of time alignment for years. It is not that I violently insist that people have their channels time-alignment. We kind of free people and everyone do whatever they want. Still, I exercise for years m...

Well, I think my Yamaha B-2 is not working well. It slightly cures my ego with MiniMe. I took today the B-2 and drive them with good conventional loudspeakers and it had the same sound –very very howly (and ugly!!!) sound under 200Hz… I wonder, do I ...

Denis,
In the PP 1050 I had better result what I use extra ferrites in deferential modes, or putting ferrites in each individual wire. I never had problem with PP 1050’s dynamics until I begin to add capacitance to the P...

Took today my first new sauna. Yes, I agree that music is not working with sauna. I however am not sure if no sound at all can’t be used in sauna. I think some kind of new-edgy elevator music with a lot of LF might work quite well. Not that I am look...

[quote user="Romy the Cat"] OK, I agree – it might be not necessary as PP2000 does produce fine electricity in a convenient package. Furthermore it violates the rule that I try to follow in audio generally: define snick objective and ONLY then re...

You could source used TAD tweeters for ~$1K pair .They sound exceptionally smooth and extended .More so than infamous T-350 and with better "tone" which may be relevant since your 288 are tonaly "dead" according to the Cat. Who knows, he may be right...
